What is going on?

After getting the results of the poll about how you want the fiction organized, we are starting the project to move all the paperbacks in with the hardcover.

To be able to do so, we are first creating a second language section where the bound volumes of magazines used to be.

So – books might be diffuicult to find for a while, as always, just ask anyone of us in the library and we will help you.

Bella and Edward

October 30, 2008

I have had several requests for Stephenie Meyers Twillight series about the romance between human Bella and the vampire Edward. And since it is hugely popular among high school kids, young adults, and 34 year old librarians at the moment, and Landmark (my favourite online Indian bookstore at the moment) has a sale, I ordered the whole series.

Maybe it isn’t the greatest novels ever written, but they are certainly catching.

The movie based on the first novel, Twilight, is released on Nov 21st. (And since the 6th Harry Potter movie was supposed to be released around the same time, this has caused a big debate if the collide with theTwilight-premiere pushed off HP until next summer.)

Check this for more on the Twilight saga.

Have you read them? Comments please!
